About me:

Renu holds the position of post-doctoral research associate under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Tyrrell since September 2023. Her current research focuses primarily on investigating the relationship between Major Depressive Disorders (MDD) and type 2 diabetes using various Mendelian randomization methods in big data including the UK-Biobank.

 

She earned her Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University (India) in 2023, where her doctoral research centered on elucidating the genetic and nutritional factors associated with the risk of Pre-term birth. She also explored how socio-demographic determinants affects pregnancy care in low-to middle-income settings and its impact on infant's birth weight.
