Jay began his PhD in Clinical and Biomedical Sciences with the AGE Group at the University of Exeter in September. Coming from a sporting background - Jay studied at the University of Leeds to graduate from his Bachelors of Science in Sport and Exercise Sciences in 2022, and following on from this, completed his Masters of Research in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation in September 2024.
Jay is currently studying the role of blood pressure in frailty and ageing, as well as how novel wearable technology can be used to help our understanding and management of these issues. He is currently supported by the Dunhill Medical Trust, providing funding through a doctoral training programme for his research into healthy ageing.
