Janice is a Senior Research Fellow in the AGE (Ageing & long-term conditions, Genetics, & Epidemiology) group in the Department of Clinical & Biomedical Sciences at the University of Exeter. Janice's research focuses on the analysis of environmental and genetic risk factors of ageing and age-related diseases. Janice has a particular research interest in the common genetic condition hereditary haemochromatosis, which can cause iron overload. Janice currently holds an NIHR Advanced Fellowship on "Enabling timely diagnosis of hereditary haemochromatosis".
