I am a surgical registrar with a specialty training number in the Peninsula deanery. I graduated from the University of Oxford, obtaining a first-class Bachelor's degree and subsequent BMBCh. I also hold postgraduate certificates in clinical education and genomics. I am currently undertaking postgraduate research with the University of Exeter.

I am interested in the genetics and epigenetics of connective tissue failure, particularly in the context of diverticular disease and hernias. My research is investigating epigenetic biomarkers for structural and biomechanical characteristics of the extracellular matrix.
