About me:
I qualified in Medicine in 1985 in Dublin, and since 1989 I have been working as a GP. Currently I am a GP partner in a practice in Paignton. I also work one day a week as a GP with Special Interest in substance misuse.
I have an interest as as an educator and outside my university role I am a GP trainer and an appraiser. I work as a small group facilitator at the medical school in Professional Development Groups. Over the years I have facililitated groups in years 1,2,3,and 4 and more recently I have been appointed as the senior PDG tutor for years 3-5 in Exeter. I also have a role providing remediation to students.
I am married and live on the edge of Dartmoor and in my spare time I enjoy walking on the Moors or the coastal path
