I am a stem cell biologist working with Ge Guo. I work with human naive pluripotent stem cells (PSCs). These cells have the remarkable ability to differentiate into all lineages of the embryo as well as extraembryonic lineages that support the developing foetus. My work involves understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning the developmental plasticity of human naive PSCs. Moreover, I use these cells to recapitulate and understand aspects of pre- and peri-implantation human development.
