Open Days

Bookings are now open for the next Medical School Open Day on Saturday 27 April 2013.

The Open Day offers a perfect opportunity to discover whether our courses are right for you. The event will provide a real insight into the student experience across both Streatham and St Luke’s campuses, each located close to Exeter city centre. Tours will be offered around both campuses, and prospective students will be able to participate in a dynamic showcase of the School’s teaching and research activities. 

The Open Day will include chances to:

On the Streatham campus

Attend subject presentations for a flavour of the course

Take part in clinical skills demonstrations, which emulate real-life scenarios

Learn in small groups, just as you would on our courses

An Information Fair where students and staff will answer your questions

On the St Luke’s campus

Find out what student life is really like through our presentations and exhibitions

Get hands-on during drop-in sessions at our Life Sciences Resource Centre

Take a tour of self-catered accommodation

A free shuttle service between the campuses will run throughout the day.

You can also find out more about the Medical School at the general University of Exeter Open Days, which will take place on Tuesday 11 June 2013 and Saturday 7 September 2013 on the Streatham campus. Interviews and Offer-Holder Visit Days

If you apply for Medicine (BMBS) at the University of Exeter you will be invited to an interview before an offer is made. If you are offered a place on the BSc Medical Sciences programme you will be invited to an Offer-Holder Visit Day, usually held in February-March.

Campus tours

We run Campus tours at the Streatham Campus every weekday at 2pm and at the St Luke’s Campus on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 noon during term time. You’ll be shown round by a current student, who’ll give you a firsthand account of what it’s like to live and study at Exeter.
