Our real-world evaluation of the BOOST programme has indicated successful translation of the programme in older adults with improved clinical outcomes.

Another major impact is the development of the BOOST online course on https://learn.exeter.ac.uk/ to provide training and support for health professionals who treat people with lumbar canal stenosis. Health professionals will have free access to the programme materials to use with their patients and a training certificate as evidence for continued professional development. A business case model has also been set up to help health professionals set up the BOOST programme that can be shared with managers and commissioners.
