Dr Wendy Rickard
Wendy is Research Fellow at Folk.us at the University of Exeter Medical School. Folk.us is committed to service user involvement in research and work on service-user led projects and in partnership and collaboration with service users, carers and patients.
Current projects include a digital storytelling project on carer bereavement, work on women in alcohol and self-care in long term health conditions. Her background is in lecturing and research in radical health promotion, public health, oral history and research methodology (particularly qualitative).
She also currently supervises postgraduate students at Department of Public Health, London South Bank University and teaches postgraduates in Public History at Department of History, Royal Holloway College, University of London.
