I am a molecular ecologist with a specific interest in the evolution and ecology of plasmids and antibiotic resistance genes. My past research focused mainly on the wide spread of plasmids in microbial communities and how the permissiveness of microbial communities towards plasmids is altered under varying environmental conditions.
