Paediatric and Adult Diabetes Specialist Nurse (Research)

Suzie is a Paediatric and Adult Diabetes Specialist Nurse (Research) in the NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF) having joined the team in 2011. Suzie has worked at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital since 1986, initially working in Accident and Emergency, then working as both an Adult and Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse for over 10 years.
Alongside her role in the CRF, Suzie is also the Genetic Diabetes Nurse (GDN) for Plymouth and Cornwall, this team of specialist nurses provides support for healthcare professionals and patients across the UK by improving awareness of monogenic diabetes and increasing the integration of molecular genetic testing into diabetes care.
