I recently graduated with a BscHons in Forensic Science and I am about to undertake my MSc, researching mutations in ARHGAP33 associated with severe neurodevelopment disorders. My two main passions lie within genetics and wildlife. I spent a month volunteering in South Africa working on a game reserve where I became involved in research into Brown Hyena, which I found incredibly interesting. Animal conservation and Wildlife genetic forensics is something I’d love to get into. As well as science I am a very keen sportswoman and have played hockey my whole life. However, I have recently changed sports and have taken up women’s rugby which I am really enjoying.
