Overview

Dr Russell O'Brien is a consultant in Acute Medicine at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in Clinical Pharmacology and General Internal Medicine before taking up this post in Exeter. He was Director of the BMBS Programme from 20212 until 2018.

He was also Associate Director of Clinical Studies for Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry.He continues his role as Academic Clinical Lead for Clinical Pharmacology in Exeter.
