Overview

Reza worked in College of Medicine and Health (CMH) as an academic member of staff until 2021, holding various positions and roles such as Director of Medical Sciences programmes, Module lead, Academic Tutor, Academic lead of College EDI. Currently, holds an honorary position Associate Professor at CMH. Externally, he is acting as External Examiner at various Higher Education Institutes, and is active in areas of Climate crisis, Environment and Human Health and Health Disparities

Research interests

Areas of research include Neuroscience (neural plasticity – memory and learning), neurological disorders, movement and movement disorders, health disparities, environment and human health. Taught neuroscience (neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, memory and learning, movement disorders, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease), general anatomy. Module lead for Anatomy and Medical Research Evaluation.
