Overview

Ninon undertook a PhD in statistical genetics under the supervision of Pr. Zoltán Kutalik at the University of Lausanne in 2017. During her PhD, she focused on Mendelian Randomization and its application to Genome-Wide Association Studies. She has been involved in several projects aiming at developing statistical methods that rely on Mendelian Randomization. She graduated in 2021.

Ninon joined the University of Exeter in 2022 as a postdoctoral Research Fellow under Pr. Jack Bowden. She is developing statistical methods and performing causal inference analyses for the Genetic Evaluation of Multimorbidity towards INdividualisation of Interventions (GEMINI) project.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Statistical Genetics (University of Lausanne, Switzerland)
  • MSc in Plant Biology (University of Lyon, France)
  • Engineer's degree in bioinformatics and modelling (INSA Lyon, France)
