Overview

I received a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science from Plymouth University in 2018.

I have performed extensive research on the three-dimensional culturing and treatment of several Breast Cancer cell lines including ZR-75, T47D and MDA-MB-231 cells while studying at Kansas State University.

During my dissertation project I used a novel model of alveolar macrophages to study the production of IL-6 and TNF-α when stimulated by several Toll-like receptor antagonists.

Currently, I am working on a project to investigate molecular transport across biological membranes in 3D cultured cancer spheroids using absorption spectroscopy.
