After completing her degree in psychology, Lauren began her career in mental health working in a crisis resolution and home treatment team, supporting people experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This sparked a particular interest in risk management and how invaluable interpersonal skills are in competent practice.

Following this, Lauren studied low intensity cognitive behavioral therapy at University College London and has been working as a psychological wellbeing practitioner since. She provides high volume CBT through various mediums including face-to face, telephone, online and group therapy. More recently Lauren completed extra training at UCL in supporting people with long-term health conditions and has specialised experience in providing integrated psychological therapy.
