Overview

I am part of the Patient and Public Involvement Team in the Third Gap team at the Medical School, and within PenCLAHRC http://clahrc-peninsula.nihr.ac.uk/patient-and-public-involvement-in-research

We support researchers to involve patients and members of the public in their research, from funding applications through the entire lifecycle of a study and to dissemination. We run regular in-house sessions which are bookable through the link to PenCLAHRC above.

I have worked collaboratively with service users, patients and members of the public since I started out in research with Barnardo's, the children's charity. My PhD focused on patient involvement in systematic reviews.
