Overview
Aneesah had been working in a hospital as a laboratory specialist during her internship year. She changed her work direction from health field to education field. She started working as a teaching assistant since 2008 and she is currently a lecturer in Laboratory Medicine department in Al-Baha University (Saudi Arabia). She was working in breast cancer research during her master study.
Qualifications
- BSc in Laboratory Medicine, (Umm Al-Qura University): Makkah, Saudi Arabia (2003-2008).
- MSc in Cellular Pathology and Oncology, (University of the West of England): Bristol, UK (2017-2018).
Research
Research interests
I am working on a PhD research project, investigating cellular redox homeostasis, and responses to redox-active drugs, in endothelial cells cultured under standard oxygen conditions in comparison with physioxia.
My interest is involved cell-cell contact, signal pathways, cancer metastasis and metabolism disorders.
